1.Introduction

[Overview]

Cubieboard is open source hardware that targets developers,geeks, makers. And it is enhanced computing power with dual-core mainchip.It’s not only for development, but also can be used invarious areas as core-board or controller board. If you want to take part in the development, some small tools and accessories would be needed. We usually use USB-UART cable to monitor the system running state and input some instructions. We would use USB cable to reflash the image. If you want to make system boot media, a micro SD card and USB card reader are needed as well. If you want to simulate the CPU, the JTAG subboard or TFcard board would be useful to connect the JTAG pins with the simulator.
